Protests surge in India after Sidhu’s return from Pakistan

CHANDIGARH – Protests started in India against former Indian cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu on his return from Pakistan on Sunday.

Indian Punjab’s minister, Sidhu crossed Wagha border on Friday to attend the oath-taking ceremony on Pakistan’s 22nd Prime Minister Imran Khan.

SAD workers staged a protest after he met and hugged Pakistan Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the oath-taking ceremony of Imran Khan in Islamabad.
