BAHAWALPUR: Former prime minister of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto’s 64th birth anniversary was celebrated with fervour here on Thursday.
In this connection, a ceremony was organised at the chamber of Supreme Court Advocate Muhammad Hussain Azad.
The leaders of Pakistan People’s Party cut the cake to remember Benazir Bhutto on her 65th birth anniversary. After the cake-cutting ceremony, Muhammad Hussain said that the Pakistan People’s Party strongly believed in helping the underprivileged people.
He said that Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto lived and laid down her life for the cause of downtrodden people while fighting tyranny. Shaheed Benazir Bhutto was born on June 21, 1953 in Karachi, she was the eldest child of former premier Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, who founded the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
