China’s vice premier Wang Yang to visit Pakistan for Independence Day celebrations

Wang Yang, the vice-premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, will attend the Independence Day flag hoisting ceremony in Islamabad on Monday, says a press release from the Chinese Embassy said.

The Chinese leader is to start a two-day visit to Pakistan tomorrow (Sunday).

The vice-PM will lead a high-powered delegation and is expected to meet President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi during the visit.
